Simply? I write a bit in my spare time. I try and make things interesting and entertaining - and if I'm in the mood, thought-provoking - so I wanted to share some of the things I'd written, in the hope some people enjoyed to read them.
Second reason for starting this blog is to test people's opinions on my short stories. Basically, if you like what I write, tell me so, give me new ideas, comment on the specific posts and tell your friends. If you don't like it, and you have a reason, tell me. If you have no reason, don't bother, you don't have to revisit the site, or feel the need to tell me next time you see me.
Third, I guess is, in my opinion, it's not enough, I want to write a lot more, and to a higher standard. What I tend to do now is start something (if it's short finish it in a night or so,) and then never revisit it. I feel if I have to post it up on a site I'll edit things and try and make them a good standard, so I don't come off as plain shit.
